SVPRO services are available to all members of the McMaster community, including students, staff, faculty, medical residents and visitors to the university.

The SWC is located in the Peter George Centre of Living and Learning. They are open Monday to Friday and can help McMaster students to address wellness needs. Services include crisis support, counselling and medical care.

The EIO serves the entire McMaster community to proactively identify and address campus-wide systemic equity and inclusion issues, to raise awareness and education on accessibility, equity and inclusion, and acts as an intake office for the Discrimination and Harassment Policy and the Sexual Violence policy.

The Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Office within the Faculty of Health Sciences furthers the facility’s strategic goals concerning equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI).

The IHLL works alongside the Faculty of Health Sciences towards creating a learning environment that is culturally safe – to work with humility to enable sustainable systems change and to advance the work around concepts of truth, reconciliation and anti-colonization with all aspects of Indigenous health and well-being.

The SCM serves all McMaster students providing support and resources to manage issues, as well as crisis prevention and intervention for students. The SCM is also an intake office for the Code of Student Rights and Responsibilities, the Discrimination and Harassment Policy and the Sexual Violence Policy.

The ELR office provides proactive and strategic employee/labour relations guidance, advice and recommendations to staff and faculty of McMaster University. The ELR is also an intake office for the Discrimination and Harassment Policy and the Sexual Violence policy.

SAS provides academic accommodations and related supports for students with disabilities at McMaster.

OLEM identifies and addresses mistreatment in the learning environment for learners in the Physician Assistant Education Program (PAEP), Postgraduate Medical Education (PGME) and Undergraduate Medical Education (UGME).

The Ombuds Office provides free independent, impartial, and confidential dispute-resolution advice and assistance on student-related issues to all members of the McMaster community. The Ombuds Office also promotes discussion of institution-wide concerns and makes recommendations for systemic changes, as appropriate.
